The Welsh Guards are an Infantry Regiment that specialises in light role operations, leading from the front as a mobile attack force.  In 2016 the regiment started operating on the Foxhound armoured vehicle, since then the battalion has been at very high readiness, and we remain ready to deploy anywhere in world at short notice.

Welsh Guards are also famous the world over for their red tunics and bearskin, which they wear while performing their ceremonial duty as guardians of the royal family at iconic locations like Buckingham Palace and the Tower of London.
