ColdstreamKit is owned and run by a British Army Veteran who served 23 years in the British Army.
All Official British Army Badges (logos) are registered trade marks of the Secretary of Defence and are used under licence.
Yeah, ColdstreamKit has been on holiday ................... but that's another story.
We're back now, in full swing and are now able to provide printing for ALL Regiments/Corps/Units of the British Army but the main question is where did we go?
Those that know me personally will most probably know the full story, of which we'll not go into too much detail apart from saying ColdstreamKit has 'evolved' from a hobby to a business.
Originally, the creation of ColdstreamKit was to just provide designs and creations for Household Division, which is a very small part of the British Army (only 7 Regiments to be precise). The main effort was to make available unique designs that I created available on products like mugs and t-shirts and for every sale I had a donation to Charity.
Donations ranged from Regimental Funds to Firefly (Cancer awareness and Support) and in just a few years we (I say we because it was a team effort that wouldn't have happened without customers) raised over £6,000, something I am very, very proud of.
Although I was relatively happy in that bubble it came to an abrupt halt when I realised that using Military Insignia without the MOD's permission was a big NO NO (how I realised is not really worth mentioning but those that know, know).
To cut a long story short, I applied for an MOD licence to use Military Insignia and was successful (the MOD were very, very helpful in all my questions and provided some very good advice and assistance).
As soon as I decided I was moving forward with ColdstreamKit I had a lot of changes to make to designs to make them conform to MOD standards, plus I had lots of other Regiments/Units/Corps to add....................... which all takes time.
I have spent the last couple of months improving the 'back end' of the shop to make it run more smoothly and give the website a complete overhaul.
Present Donations:
FIRSTLY:
As we are officially licenced with the MoD, if the design holds an MoD Logo (the recognised Military emblems and logos), then 10% of the sale price is given back to the MoD. This cash is pumped back into the MoD to support Welfare and other projects.
SECONDLY:
If the product has one of our EXCLUSIVE designs (with no MoD Logo) then we will have decided to STILL GIVE 10% of the sale price to Charity - the charity where this cash will go will be decided on a monthly basis.
The charity where donations will go is decided on a 'vote', please see this page for information regarding voting.
I'd like to sincerely thank all those that have supported ColdstreamKit, without you all I would not have brought it back and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
So, that's it - there's only one way on this path and that's forward.

So, what actualy is Coldstream Kit?
Coldstream Kit was originally created as a portal to design and create, well .......... Coldstream Guards Kit!
We're
a very small creative team and we like to create Military Designs, and
seeing as we had a good 'working' knowledge of the Coldstream Guards we
decided to stick with that and other Regiments of the Household
Division. In the past, our designs were shared through facebook and the
odd one printed onto an item through ebay - but then we had a thought,
why not create a platform to promote/sell these designs and ALSO RAISE
MONEY for the COLDSTREAM GUARDS (and other Regimental Charities) - and
so, ColdstreamKit was born!
Our Designs
All
of our designs are sole Copyright © and Trademark ™ of ColdstreamKit.
We've created these designs to be a little unique and creating something
unique takes time. In addition to this we've created these designs to
ALSO RAISE MONEY for the COLDSTREAM GUARDS (and other Regimental
Charities), so if you see or notice someone who's 'borrowed' something
of ours please do let us know so we can investigate. On the subject of
our designs, you should be aware that there are HUGE variations of
monitors and settings and although we can guarantee that our designs are
the best they can be - we can't guarantee that they'll match what
you're seeing right now.
