The definition of Grumpy is shown as being ‘bad-tempered’ or ‘irritable’.

I think we’ve all been there, when things are not going as planned, when people let us down, when we even let ourselves down.

The thing about the ‘Grumpy’ label is that, more often than not, that classification is given to others without their knowledge as a warning to other people to steer clear!

We like ‘Grumpy’ designs, we can’t get enough of them to be honest because people love to wear them, and they’re also great as gifts for other people.

We like it so much that we’ve created a few designs that suit those ‘Grumpy’ amongst us.


First off we have the ‘Grumpy Old ........’ designs. These are available for ALL Regiments of the Household Division with the tag-lines like ‘Grumpy Old Coldstreamer’, ‘Grumpy Old Mick’ (for the Irish Guards), ‘Grumpy Old Taff’ (for the Welsh Guards) etc etc.  This incidentally was one of the first designs we created when ColdstreamKit went live many years ago, the design has had a little revamp to allow it to be printed on all colours, and not just black like the original.  These designs are on T-Shirts, Mugs and Sweatshirts.


Moving onto the next design, we have the ‘Founder Members of the Grumpy Old Guardsmans` Club’.  This design is also available for ALL Regiments of the Household Division, which is also available on T-Shirt and Mugs.

The Grumpy Club features apt tag lines such as “Never Happy Unless Complaining” and “Contains Memory Loss and Flatulence” ................... sound familiar?

Last but not least we have a couple of ‘generic’ designs with the ‘Never dreamed that one day I would become a Grumpy Old Veteran’ design and also the ‘Warning Sign’ design.  These are apt for ANY Veteran that may be a little Grumpy!

If you are a little Grumpy, be proud, be passionate, but most of all ................... warn others with a T-Shirt!
